Aging and In-Home Services Family Caregivers

The Family Caregiver Program assists caregivers of older people by providing comprehensive information, education, assistance with support group formation, and a library of caregiving resources. The program has a respite fund that pays for a substitute caregiver when the usual caregiver has external obligations.

Resource Center

Resource Center Specialists on aging are available to listen to concerns, answer questions and provide information about elder care resources in northeast Indiana. An on-site library contains numerous books, video tapes and pamphlets about a wealth of issues related to family caregiving.

Respite Care

The Respite Care is designed to pay for temporary coverage for caregivers who qualify due to a medical need or family emergency.
